It will be going on the back seat of a 97 dodge Dakota ext cab. Mostly mainstream rap is listened to. It will be ran off a soundqubed 1200.1 1998 Pontiac grand prix gtp supercharged2 12" Obsidain Audio V.1 on a 2011 zx1500.1 at 2 ohms. 20ft of Knuconceptz CCA 0 Guage. 2nd Battery is a Shurken BT-120. Box is 3.5cu tuned at 31.8hz sealed off from the trunk. 14sqft of Dynamat on the Rear deck top & bottom. Soon to be more for doors/roof. Gets low & loud Did a 140.5 Sealed at Battle of the boom in June 2013 dropping to 12.7v (need a alt mines going bad) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Joe X Posted May 5, 2013 Report Share Posted May 5, 2013 Here is a suggestion for the HDC3 15", simplest to build box: Enclosure Specifications:Fb = 35 HzVb = 4.4 ft^3External Height = 21 inExternal Width = 36.25 inExternal Depth = 16.5 inPort Width = 4 5/8 inCut Sheet List:* All Dimensions in Inches.* Wood Thickness is 3/4 for all Parts.External Enclosure Parts:2 x Top & Bottom (3 parts) = 36 1/4 x 16 1/2Left & Right Sides = 15 x 18 3/4Front & Back = 36 1/4 x 18 3/4L Port Internal Assembly Parts:Top to Bottom = 14 1/8 x 15Extension = 4 1/2 x 15 Assembly guide (generic dimensions): Important notes:- The port needs 4 5/8" of free airspace in front of it for proper operation.- Setting your amp subsonic filter to 28Hz is suggested.
