I've used a few bass processors, the AC Epicenter, Orion Maxx Bass, and a few amps with bass boost, but in the end, I ripped all that stuff out. The processors and bass boost did make some notes louder, but the bass sounded unnatural and I could tell there were "peaks" in the bass signal. Now I run a Mmats amp with no bass boost, no bass processor, and I couldn't be happier with the sound. I know some guys love their bass boost, but not for sound quality.
