It reduces from 6" wide to 2" wide at the top, and stays 6" deep. its .5 MDF not .75, so it was easier. I used the nice huge oscillating belt sander at the college to sand each face and trasfer the angle to bottom and top pieces so it all aligned perfect. I made a square enclosure same internal volume and tried port placement and close to the driver sounded best IMO so thats what I went with. If you dont have the tools, or time and want a pair shoot me a PM, we can work something out and maybe I could build you some or something, or find someone to do it. Everything was bought from parts express, and they can be built for less with some comparable 3" drivers from Dayton, just not NEO motor, that would save about 20$. Also if you built your own amp, or even altoids amp, you could save another 10-15", they sell the 2x15wrms amp kits on their. So I think a DIYer could knock it down to about 80$ for the pair if they used cheaper stuff, or take it up to 300$ dollar range if you got some crazy drivers.
