Krakin's Single Cab '03 Sierra

Recommended Posts

So I figured that it was about time that I started my build log. So I got this truck August '11 with it only having 27,000 miles on the odometer. Just driving it from school and back along a couple trips throughout the state I only put on 10k in two years. But back to the truck. 400731_597568046920066_633509166_n.jpg I decided I don't really like all the trim on the truck sock got some plastidip and I'm going to do all the badges and trim. It's pretty dirty but I just cleaned off the main parts really good before I sprayed it. null_zps81b0fe49.jpg?t=1368131567null_zpsa8cd696b.jpg?t=1368131581null_zps971691a1.jpg?t=1368131595 Cleaned right before being taped off null_zps120a08d8.jpg?t=1368131607null_zps1d4d6b70.jpg?t=1368131629 My cover for the tailgate handle broke two prongs so I have got to find a new one somewhere. tailgate_zps46b841af.png?t=1368496837 Got it about a third of the way done. Took off the bed rails and going to find a place to get those setup for dipping. But all in all really liking everything. null_zpsbb8ef4fa.jpg?t=1368131665 Going to have to find a new way to do the z71 stickers. null_zpsacbd204b.jpg?t=1368131682 Really like the grill. null_zpsb9284bf1.jpg?t=1368131692

Krakin, are you some sort of mad scientist?

I would have replied earlier, but I was measuring the output of my amp with a yardstick . . .

What you hear is not the air pressure variation in itself

but what has drawn your attention

in the two streams of superimposed air pressure variations at your eardrums

An acoustic event has dimensions of Time, Tone, Loudness and Space

Everyone learns to render the 3-dimensional localization of sound based on the individual shape of their ears,

thus no formula can achieve a definite effect for every listener.

And ordered just a bunch of speaker wire. Such a great price I know I could use this for more than my truck.

Got the truck through the car wash today to get the wheels all ready to be dipped.

null_zpsf9b6e60a.jpg

The wind kept blowing the cards off so I had to tape them on.

null_zpsfbcccf2e.jpg

Also got the bed rails ready for dipping.

Got the wheels and bed rails done today. Going to get the sidesteps done tomorrow and some work on the inside of the truck.

Don't have pics of the wheels yet cause I was too dark.

I have some starting at about 31hz but not too noticable till it get below 29. Also that was the only diameter PVC that Lowes has that wasn't 10' long and solid not the cheaper cell core.

Edit both at 519 posts. :ehh:

Okay so when underneath my truck to clean it up before dipping my side steps and found this from the previous owner hidden down there. I have been locked out of my truck 4 times and never had a clue it was there. Makes me kind of mad.
