Need help With kicker setup

spoke with jeremy at kicker. he is almost certin that replacing just the negative batt terminal to the chassis with 4ga wire would allow more current and in return keep voltage steady. he also said the 50 amp fuse mightve been starving the amp somewhat and to keep the 80a fusw in since it somewhat "fixed" the issue! stock wire 8 or 10 gauge like speaker wire and its stock so mabye doubling it up with 1 out of the big 3 will help me get back into the 12v range when at full tilt? does this make any sense to yall bAss headz?!

btw the amp has that f.i.t technolgy shit where if it dips below 11.5v low voltage light will flicker like mine. if it gets down less then 10.5v at amp it will shut off into protection mode. im hoping this wiring kit by knuconcepts will do the trick! id hate to have to send the amp to oklahoma lol

i cleaned ground real good used star washer ect. n its a kicker ix500.1 class d amp and thanks for welcoming me bro! good to be here

It could be your clipping real bad, or you got some voltage issues, take a volt meter and find out what your dropping too

naw really clippin bro. i understand you really cant hear clipping tho my gains are set less tha half boost b.s. off mode and im almost garunteed its just low voltage due to those 15 year old speaker wire sized shitty stock electrical wiring... like i said i got warranty a year on sub and amp just in case sonethibg fvcks up but them amps are smary. when they see clipping or less then 10.5volts. it goes into sleepy mode haha

and i believe last time i had dmm on deck it read like 12v at amp

thats when i had two comp 15s wired parrelel to 2ohms

it would drop yo tenish an shut off protection mode. come to find out

one of the comps had a blown vc which in return

im guessing would cause lower impedence less then

2ohms and amp would do its job and go safe mode.

it sounds good now. dont cut out. bumps nice. just gettin

into the 11.5ish range when heavy bass hits so hopefully

big 3 will help. ive heard just the neg batt post to chassis

can get chu a .5 of a volt increase!

kicker suggested upgrading just that wire

but might as well do all 3 dont seem to hard on my towncar

the neg batt wire (not one grounded at body) runs behind

engine by the firewall.. looks like a bitch to get to

but ill just get my.creeper n floorjack out lol

bump?! i noticed i had a parastic drain on battery

i been trying to narrow it down n today i opened my trunk and the bulb was blazin hot. stuck relay? i removed the hot ass bulb but voltags problem continues.. im taking my walmart battery back amd demanding a cash refund instead of exchange so i can get a kinetik hc1200 or a yellow top .. along with a 0 or 4 gauge wiring kit for my big three upgrade. i chose a knuconceptz kit. seems legit! Any input?!
