lockdown801 Posted May 13, 2013 Report Share Posted May 13, 2013 I am going to run about 2400 watts on a stock alt. It is a 160amp on a GMC yukon. I am thinking about upgrading stock battery to 2 xs batterys. They will be for my mids and highs amps. Going to get a bracket to run 2 alts. The other will be for a 16v setup for the sub amps. Will I need to upgrade to 2 batteries or will just 1 xs2400 work fine with the stock 12v system? Will I need to upgrade the alt for that system?
