OldAutotek330 Posted May 13, 2013 Report Posted May 13, 2013 Old autotek mean machine 4 channel has a high pitch wine out of all 4 channels. Didn't do it yesterday but hasn't been hooked up in a few years. Could it be a bad cap or something like that. The wine is out of the speakers not the amp it self.
SojiaRaggs9000 Posted May 13, 2013 Report Posted May 13, 2013 I doubt its "amp whine". More than likely RFI (Radio-frequency interference) happens when you run unsheild rca or speaker wires too close power wires. I could be wrong tho. * Eclipse CD3200 with PAC SWI-CAN2 and SW-ECL2 Steering Wheel Controls Interface* Pioneer D-Series Mids and Highs ( Fronts: TS-D1702C; Rears; TS-D1702R and Dash; TS-D1002R )* Rockford Fosgate PBR300X4 ( Mids and Highs Amp )* DC 3.5k with Dual Inputs; Custom Plexiglass Backing ( Sub Amp )* Rockford Fosgate Balanced Line Driver * One FULLY LOADED ~ 10" DC m2 XL* Custom Built Carpeted Ported Box Tuned to 32hz. OldAutotek330 Posted May 13, 2013 Author Report Posted May 13, 2013 So I should unplug RCA's and see if still there.
Lifted2000Ford4x4 Posted May 20, 2013 Report Posted May 20, 2013 So I should unplug RCA's and see if still there. you could try that, does it do it when your listning to music or all the time when its powered on?
HunterJohnson Posted May 20, 2013 Report Posted May 20, 2013 My sundown saz3500 did that. I think something was funky in the amp. Only way to check is to switch amps and if the sound goes away you know it's ur amp Scion tC SQ BuildiPad mini, lots of fabrication, daily drivenFord Explorer C Pillar Wall Build Just a cheap car to destroy with bass
