DylanBunch Posted May 13, 2013 Report Posted May 13, 2013 When it comes to moving air, do port and sub placement come into play? Obviously cone area, power and lows do but what are some other things that get air moving? In the hopefully near future, I want 2 18s on a 2500, 3000 or 3500 watts amp (havent decided) and I want a good demo car for when I go to local shows and stuff. Anyone wanna help me out? 2006 Ford Explorer 2 Team AA/Sundown 15s 6th order Ct Sounds 7k 4 PRV Mr500 8s Rockford p1000-2 Team Subsonic Lows

gally Posted May 13, 2013 Report Posted May 13, 2013 ive hairtricked on even higher tuning frequencies...like on 43 or 44..on 2 12s... it actually depends on the car, sub, box(it mostly depends on how you build the box), and other things..oh power and size maters too(at some point) 2010 Chevrolet Cruze Radio --- pioneer mvh-200vbt Front/back --- alpine type s 6.5" Sub Control --- Pac LC1 Sub Amp --- GZPA 1.4K Sub --- GZNW 15XSPL D1 Battery - GZBP 12.2500X

You tuned to 37 and still hiy lows to do hairtricks or you were moving hair at higher end decaf songs? tuned at 37 could play down to 30 or 29 with the old box..and it was a all around box..it moved a lot of air no mater what frequency would be... this new box is just for my things...and testing slowed songs.. 2010 Chevrolet Cruze Radio --- pioneer mvh-200vbt Front/back --- alpine type s 6.5" Sub Control --- Pac LC1 Sub Amp --- GZPA 1.4K Sub --- GZNW 15XSPL D1 Battery - GZBP 12.2500X
DylanBunch Posted May 13, 2013 Author Report Posted May 13, 2013 Like, I have an explorer and the cabin is huge. I can barely do a shirttrick of my 15 on 1600 watts. Tuned to 29-30hz. Like the shirt barely flutters lol 2006 Ford Explorer 2 Team AA/Sundown 15s 6th order Ct Sounds 7k 4 PRV Mr500 8s Rockford p1000-2 Team Subsonic Lows
