Fobbe0420 Posted May 23, 2013 Author Report Share Posted May 23, 2013 I made 2 boxes, Cause 1 box wouldn't fit in my lil mazdaz trunk...by trunk i mean the opening, Put in a 3 amp diode last weekend to the alternator. works great reading 14.56V cold under the hood and 14.53 in the trunk, Might do a 4 or 5 amp diode... Fobbe0420 Posted May 23, 2013 Author Report Share Posted May 23, 2013 Done 3 recones cause of power issues,clippin/not enough power,got 2 xs powers now n a high output alt n a 10 faired rockford cap. junk the cap, in some cases it can reduce voltage going to the amp... no good. that can also cause clipping Haven't blowing ne in about 2 years, put the cap in about a year ago had it for a while just siting around so hooked it up and seemed to do better.
