Yes ditch the cap because they are eye candy, and put more stress on the electrical system including the amp. 2/0 is very good, it just depends on the brand and OFC or CCA Not sure wut ofc or cca is ??? On studying and researchin. .....my wife yells at me everyday cuz i learn something new and so i am out the door unhooking everythang and switchin things up its addicting as hell but its never enough bass never loud enough before i forget. Iam thinkin bout gettin rid of the pioneers can u tell me some decent subs on the lower. Budget scale i am like most and out here in this sorry town jobs are hard to come by anyway any suggestions ?

Depends on your budget. I can recommend you a dealer whose team i'm on and he's got most brands that can accommodate you whether you're on budget or not. A comp once a year on the base but since the have had this zero tolerance for systems they stopped them but anyway appreciate the info

Lifted2000Ford4x4 Posted May 21, 2013 Report Posted May 21, 2013 if your bridging a 2 chan amp most are only stable at 4-2 ohms. 2/0 is a bit excessive, but you can never go too big for power and ground. loose the cap, they are worthless. add a second batt if need be.
Lifted2000Ford4x4 Posted May 21, 2013 Report Posted May 21, 2013 Your problem might also be that you have 2/0 wire fused with 200amps, should be 400 amps as long as its under 20'. that shouldn't cause the problem
