with car off front battery sits at 12.82 back battery sits at 12.81

i think i found the reason why i am not getting the volts is b/c i never replaced the factory wire comeing from alternator to fuse box do ya'll think that is the problem i just ran a 4ga wire from battery to alternator??????

WELL I BELIVE THAT WAS THE PROBLEM I PUT A 4GA FROM FUSE BOX TO ALT ( THAT IS WHERE THE FACTORY WIRE WAS ) AND NOW I GET 13.2 IN DRIVE SITTING

i know it i REALLY do not think that was the problem i thought it was but it wasn't

i know i payed to much money to keep my volts up and they are lowwww

do you think it is b/c they are made to have a load on them that is why it is low when i put it right into drive????

and after driveing my car when i shut it off my batts should be around like 13.5???? or so b/c after driveing it and shuting it off my batts are at 12.81 why is that or is that normal???

everything is normal, ur alt turns on when u need power

if you are at a stop light, with no music playing and no accesories on, ur engine might sound like its dieing then revving up, this is normal

and might be moreso when u have more batts to supply and store energy

my car is 12.8 off, and 13.5 when bumping at 2000 rpm, ~14 at idle

so is the bass on ur eq all the way down?

it should be at 0.... maybe that will help

u should have 0 gauge from alt to batt also
