Need help playing tones or music on a termlab

Ok I know of course it's better to play tones than a song but I've tried apps for frequencys and also tones off bass Mekanik CDs and iPod and music always seems louder I've metered with tones and did a 142 but when I play jeezy put on it sounds twice as loud as any tones I can play and I've done 50-40 sweeps and all that just keeps sounding louder off of music any suggestions or help

All this was with old enclosure with new box I should be louder but still want to play the best possible thing on my runs hoping for a 145 or 45

Do you know at what level the test tones were recorded at?

Ex. 0dB, -5bB, -10dB, etc...

You could just be playing more quiet tones then what your music is recorded at.

I purchased a phone app that lets you set the tone frequency along with the output level.

Maybe try one of those...
