FknCrawler
I used Torres box calculator to try and come up with some dimensions but I'm not confident in what I came up with. Could someone help me get a design with a cut sheet. (2) skar ivx 10s want the port in the middle. I don't plan on using 45s since this will be my first box build. Plan to power it with this: http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_34764_Rockford-Fosgate-R1200-1D.html Thanks for the help. 1992 Honda Civic CX Hatchback K24a2 Swap
Joe X
Here is a suggestion: Enclosure Specifications:Fb = 33 HzVb = 2.6 ft^3External Height = 13 inExternal Width = 32 inExternal Depth = 19.5 inPort Width = 3 1/4 inCut Sheet List:* All Dimensions in Inches.* Wood Thickness is 3/4 for all Parts.External Enclosure Parts:2x Front = 14 3/8 x 11 1/2Back = 32 x 11 1/2Left & Right Sides: 18 x 11 1/2Top & Bottom = 32 x 19 1/2Shared Port Internal Assembly Parts:2 x Front to Back = 16 3/8 x 11 1/22 x Extension = 8 11/16 x 11 1/2 Assembly guide (generic dimensions): Important notes:- The 45s if you want to do them are 2 1/2" wide except the one/ones inside the port, if you want that let me know.- All boxes built outside the vehicle need to fit in their way in not just have the right dimensions.- This box should be operated around subwoofer(s) rated power. If that´s not the case, let me know.- The port needs 3 1/4" of free airspace in front of it for proper operation.- Setting your amp subsonic filter to 28Hz is suggested. FknCrawler
Started this tonight. The majority of it is done but it's hard to get it all glued with one clamp and wanting to finish it by tomorrow afternoon. All I have left to do is screw the port walls to the box base, paint the port, caulk it, put on the top. I'll post pictures once it's done. I really appreciate the help with the design I love it the more I look at it. 1992 Honda Civic CX Hatchback K24a2 Swap
FknCrawler
Finished the box this today, it has been raining all weekend. Powering them with the hifonics2010d on 1ohm tuned with the DD-1. Sounds amazing. The box has some flaws but it was my first build. Plan to fill in the screw holes and paint it later. 1992 Honda Civic CX Hatchback K24a2 Swap
