MACnonsence6 Posted August 18, 2013 Author Report Share Posted August 18, 2013 ive done some more work just havnt got around to taking pics. waiting on recones from fi so i can run 2 12s instead of 1. planning on reverce mounting them being that all the work ive done to these motors and baskets ill try and post some pics today pics and such car with its new halo headlights. thinking about changing the led in the halos to the color changing ones. you only see them if just the driving lights are on when the headlights are on it kinda drowns them out. gotta figure out what kinda socket for the bulbs these new lights use. its not the stock ones this has a seperate bulb for the highs and lows so id like to get a hid kit in yellow for the lows and a really bright white for the highs just gotta see what kinda socket the bulb goes into pic with the halos on kinda hard to see ill get a better one when its dark shitty amp rack just to keep them from moving around when i drive. waiting for recones and 1/0 cable before i build something more permanent pics of how the deck turned out i plan to redew it theres a small gap on the right side so i gotta get a new faceplate for the deck as well as the car and do it right this time. also my volt meter only reads partial digits enough for me to know if im at 12 13 or 14 how i have my 1 re se currenly planning to do them both like this because of all the work im putting into the baskets and motors gotta show them off this ones gona be re painted currenly working on the other one trying to figure out what color to paint the motor going back and forth between black or white and this would be where im at working on the 2nd se motor the basket is already primed waiting for it to dry so i can paint it. glazzing puddy trying to get rid of the small nicks and scratches and this would be where i am at currently just waiting on fi for some recones then ill eather plug the one you see here into the wall or just cut it out idk yet I picked up an MTX Sw1212 powered subwoofer today. This thing sounds amazing. 130 watts, 12" woofer with a passive 12" woofer tuned to 27 hz. Moving the pictures on the walls and my girl got wet from the bass when i showed her haha. MACnonsence6 Posted September 9, 2013 Author Report Share Posted September 9, 2013 well guys i have a huge update for you pics are all scattered from my phone my dads and my cousins. so ill be posting what i have so there kinda scattered. those you have a neon might wonder how this 4.99 cu ft box fit well read on and find out got my recones from fi the 4th these recones are diff then my other basic ones from fi these are round wound and alot bigger ww as well as 2 spiders top is new bottom is old had a ton of lead problems with the other one i initially put them to tight so they broke and from there on it was patch work after patch work with mad lead slap took care of that problem as soon as i got them outa the box reconed the first one using the others motor as a weight the other difference between the old and new recones is these ones read 3.4 per coil then after attempting to bolt the basket on i was greated with a pop and then this this pretty much ruined my day atleast untill i found out how to fix it YAY!! thank god it didnt happen with the recone in foamed my sealing still gotta go threw and sound deaden everything cars all torn apart working on bondo on the front and put a pur threw the middle as a brace idk what the bars called ive seen people do it on here worked really well box would not fit into the trunk size wize it would because i messured but it would not fit in the trunk so i made some adjustments so it would fit in threw the cabbin then bam by the power of the spl gods i have been granted fitment and 3 subs YES! 4.99 cubes tuned to 35 ish amazing on music and destroys everything in my car love it I picked up an MTX Sw1212 powered subwoofer today.
