Smokey619 Posted May 31, 2013 Report Share Posted May 31, 2013 Well I just got my dd1 from sonic Electronix in less than 24 hours from start to finish. Well today I'm going to set my gains on my sub amp but I'm wondering if I can switch the 1khz tone to only one speaker because that thing is loud at volume 10, I can't imagine to volume 34 or so. So camo just set it to 1 speaker till I get clipping or does it have to be all four speakers? If not I guess I will just take out the headunit find clipping and the reconnect it because I don't have a 4 channel yet. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Lbox88 Posted May 31, 2013 Report Share Posted May 31, 2013 If you're using the HU for power to your speakers, be sure to test the output at the speaker level to see where that clips before doing the RCA's.
