Original plans were 5 cubes @ 29hz, but thanks to me trusting home depot, it will end up 4.5cubes @ 31hz. This box is just something to have, no carpet or paint. The home depot wood, that should all be 48" wide, but they like to make them different cuts :verymad: All the wood cut.. Port Wall together... Still waiting on a recone and basket if anyone at Fi every emails me back...but the BTL motor compared to a Sundown SD-1 Pics of it being built... BTW anyone that doesn't have clamps or access to a nail gun, I HIGHLY reccomend these screws, they countersink and predrill by them selves, can't ask for much for in a screw. Not sure how you guys space your ports perfectly, but I just cut some small pieces the exact width of the port and place them in and screw the port. Flush trim bits FTW... Also another trick I use... I put on the back last so when I router everything out, all the saw dust falls right out, instead of having to vaccum it all out behind the port n ish. Painting the port: Box finished... just needs the sub!
the727kid Posted April 14, 2008 Author Report Posted April 14, 2008 Got bored today, so I ended up making an amp rack for both amps. Old box out, nice lil mess back there lol. Spare piece of 1/4" mdf I used for a amp rack in a Dodge Ram, turned out to be exactly perfect size, couldn't be an 1/8th more exact lol. Base for the SAZ3000D The 100.4 slides in attached to its bottom piece, I'm suprised this fit the first time around. And where I left off for now, gunna make some trim pieces and still need the **** sub lol, and re-route some wires.

the727kid Posted April 24, 2008 Author Report Posted April 24, 2008 I threw the box out the other day without even thinking, I willg et a pic of it when I build the next box. Anyways Lil' more.... Yesterday I ripped EVERYTHING out. Rear deck getting re-done and doors getting wrapped. Also re-wired car, and I might finish the sound deadning and do the floor. Anyways, part of the wiring done... Like I said this build is attention to detail! Speaker wires wrapped in techflex, each wire heatshrink and color coded, then labeled. Gotta pick up some more tech flex.
