Detailed Box Help, 4 15's

Recommended Posts

Okay so I jsut started designing a build for my brothers box to go in his explorer it has atm 4 Funkin Audio 15's just some lo wbudget subs, im looking at doing a 6th order wall so just two ports on a wall, so Just a few questions as I have never done a 6th, playing around with WinIsd I got 15^3 rear @24hz, 11.5 Front 45hz,,, Yes were going for lows but by the graph it looks like a 6th order kinda evens out the spectrum so it can hit good on more notes between those two tunes,, is this correct? does this sound about right for a box or am I wayyyy off? also for hairtricks is a higher port velocity better or worse? right now 50 on front 250 on rear I know its suppose to be below 100 but is that only for SQ or what? also if anyone knows what this magnetic spectrum thing is greatly appreciated!! sorry for the questions and variables just work with me xD

Edit: This is For my brohters Explorer, he already has had the subs forever, in a ported normal box on a dd900watt, just trying to make the best with what we got. I havent done anything above ported and sealed boxes thought this would be a new thing to try out, dont need any your subs suck rage cause they arent mine me myself dont even have a system anymore jsut doing friends and familys, im sorry that im just trying to learn on here but dont need everyone raging because im trying to learn.

Edit: This has nothign to do with hairtricks, just wanting some basic knowledge on this whole 6th order thing

After hours of searching I found that what im looking at building is called a dual reflex bandpass 6th order, idk what the difference is spl wise or musical wise, so idk which is better for my application, also what would putting th e4 15's in isobaric what would it change more rms to each sub higher or lower spl metering? i know these are detailed questions just looking for some answers

Edit: Also if one of the subwoofers freeze wouldnt it strain the other sub
