jrmycmch
hi guys as u currently know I have 2 hdc3 12 and 2 crescendos bc2000ds , I also havd a d5100 up front and a xs d 3400 in the back , now my current alt (110amp) is stil surviving the one bc2000d and if I connect the other one its going to die on me a lot sooner , so I looked thew a ton of websites and this is the only one that can make me one with the stock bolt on www.qualitypowerauto.com, its for 425 , which is fine with me but is it enough to power both bc2000d , or do I need another xs d3400? Guest
that company may just take the stock internals out and puts bigger stuff in there. bigger internals = moar heat = higher failure rate.
mrd6
Ask that company what exactly they do to make the alt produce more current. Ask for specs like output at specific RPMs and post the info up here so we can take a look and see if its legit, ya never know. As to "is 200 enough"...well yeah with another batt its probably okay but may still be lacking a bit. But if you are planning on competing then you will probably catch the upgrade bug like everyone does and want to go bigger. If you are already cool with spending $425, whats another hundred to get a nice 270 or 320 amp alt if you can find one? Rather than shelling out big again down the road. Just something to consider. jrmycmch
jus got a response this is what he put It will provide about 100 amp at idle and will reach max output between 1600 - 1800 engine RPM depending on your actual pulley ratio.
