Setup suggestions for 98 eclipse

Hey, didnt want to lump all my info into one thread and make it confusing. I have a 98 eclipse GSX. When i bought the car it didnt have any speakers in it. I'm looking for suggestions on what to run. I already have a spare head unit to use. It has 6.5 door speakers, dash tweeters, and 6x9 rears. I dont want to run a subwoofer since i race the car regularly and it's hard to fit all the stuff i need for the track in as is, let alone if i had anything else in the trunk. Basically, i just want something that'd be loud enough to be heard over the exhaust, and fit in the stock locations. The stock stereo has a little amp under the passenger seat so itd be easy to get one if needed if it would fit down there. I'm not trying to win any spl competitions or spend a ton of money, I just want to have something that sounds clean. Few questions:

What would be the ideal way to set up the 6x9's in the rear? Can i get ones that just act in a similar way to the way you would set up a subwoofer?

Does anyone know how to get to the dash tweeters? I've never had the dash apart, just wondering if anyone has experience with these cars.

I'm looking for the best value i can that doesnt sound like garbage. Any comments or suggestions are welcome, if i've left any info out let me know and i'll let you know anything i can

to keep it all stock looking and light weight and maintain some good sq and spl (for what it is)

without a budget its a bit hard but

amp for under seat (very small footprint)

speakers front

http://www.sonicelec...er-T1652-S.html

for the rear you could fit the same as front as they come with 6x9 adaptor

but if you want a 6x9

if you want to spend abit more for more sq

you have a few options 4ch or 2ch amp

with 2ch amp the front and a nice coaxle rear off h/u

4ch with front and rear amped

4ch with some ib subs in place of 6x9 (idd do h/u rear or this)

amp for 2ch

if you can fit this under seat

if not

front

rear

off h/u

subs to replace the 6x9 (ill get a lot of crap for this) but for a 6.5" ib sub there pretty good

if this youll need to run either 2x2ch

or a 4ch

edit:

Hmm those package deals look really nice. the t1652 looks like it'd be perfect in the front. I'd just need to see if i can mount the tweeters in the stock location. With those 6x9 you linked in the top, I'd run a PBR300x2.

The 4 channel amp at the bottom and subs look nice but i'm not sure if they'd fit. I may see if there's enough room around the spare tire in the well to fit amps, then i'd be able to hide them there instead of under the seats.

youll need the pbr300X4 (4ch 75x4 @4ohm) if you want the 6x9 in the rear to be amped

as for the subs not fitting they have 1" less depth then the 6x9 so the would fit better and easier then the 6x9,

just use the adaptors supplyed in the t1 components

if you wanted the subs with the t1's

amp

front

rear/subs but youll need to get the 2ohm not 1ohm as listed

use the adaptors supplied with t1's and dynamat/second skin or slimmer the inside wall

Yeah sorry i should have been more specific, the subs will for sure fit, it's just finding somewhere for the amps that i'm really concerned about. Thats why i wanted to see if i could fab a mount to put them beside the spare tire in the spare tire well. That'd take care of it.

Put it under seat or on Bach seat wall

Up can even under rear shelf

The rear shelf on the eclipse is too flimsy for amps. Back seats might be doable though, i'd just have to make mounts for it and make it so the wires still allow for the seats to be folded down.
