brent379 Posted July 2, 2013 Report Posted July 2, 2013 So I got my box in finally and set the gain on my sq2200d with the dd1... Volume set at 35 max... Doesn't distort till 39... Gain knob half way up. Now. When I'm playing it I can't go past 30 with the gain knob a little over 1/4 the way up before the clipping light starts blinking and I don't understand why. I don't play it above 30. And I got the loudness settin off and sla option at 0 and eq is completely flat... Can someone help me understand why it clips so fast??! I kno the gains are set using a cd... And I'm playing music off my iphone with the special 40$ cord for it...

brent379 Posted July 2, 2013 Author Report Posted July 2, 2013 Oops didn't mean to post that twice. I used track 5... Booklet says 3 is for sound quality... 7 results in a louder system and 5 is a compromise... Not sure what the compromise is lol
