After market AC?

Anyone here have experience with aftermarket ac? Ive covered the basics and it seems the AC in my 95 suzuki sidekick ljx 5 speed 4wd is just weak. The evaporator seems clogged up and for the price of it I can get an evaporator complete with vents, blower, housing and installation kit delivered to my door. I would hook this up to the cooling circuit in place of the oem one as it seems dual evaporators just splits the cooling power vs increase it. Ive already done the simple stuff, Ive charged it twice, flushed, cleaned condensor and checked the fan operation. The artic freeze freon engineered by nasa was used and in my honda. I can now hang meat in my honda with this freon.

The condensor looks small and it seems I can add a second one inline to it or a larger one. I want to do this as cheap as possible and replace parts as I see or need. I know I can get a whole aftermarket kit, but other than being weak its functional.

I am some what tempted to connect the 2 evaporators to the system, but do not know how. I know many vehicles have dual ac, front/rear. I believe the source of a leak on the passenger side is the intake for the outside air of the hvac, so another mod is to close off the firewall so nothing can enter the vehicle and just open a window if I want fresh air. The OEM HVAC is rather noisy too and does not blow much air. Ive already removed the blower, Ive cleaned everything and checked its operation. Ive checked a friends suke and these vehicle just do not blow much air.

If you add components to your system you'll probably put more of a strain on the compressor and adding stuff is just asking for it to leak somewhere. If you add components to your system then your system just has to work twice as hard.

putting in 2 evaporators will not work you cant link them one after the other the pipes need to be teed off before the evaporator same with running 2 condensers

Interesting.... Yeah, I had a van with dual ac and a t like you said. An aftermarket site I went to said you can add the condensors in series, but had to make sure one port was so much above the other.

The compressor the site said a one too big would be worse than one too small as it would cycle off and on too frequently. As is the compressor pumps till it gets ahead and builds up too much psi and cycles off, right? Then when the freon is used up it drops and it switches back on?

I got the part in the mail and its nice. I also gave one more effort to cleaning the original one, fixing any air leaks too. Got it blowing cold enough that when I exit the vehicle my glasses fog up.
