How to Make an Samsung Galaxy S3/S4 Note II Mirror Image kit for AUX input Alpine Kenwood

Recommended Posts

So we were playing around at the shop and since we have found a way to pull video of the iPhone 5 I figured the Samsung Android User would be the next best thing. So with a little creative engineering we were able to make it work and charge the Phone. We found that it has to have the regular non-rooted android software. The rooted phone didn't work for some reason and it need the 11 pin android video adapter. Basically make sure the adapter is for the right Android phone. there are 5 different android MHL USB- Micro and mini HDMI adapters on the market. Normally shop for the part by phone. We have the part for the MHL-11 pin used on the Galaxy III and Galaxy 4 phones. We make the adapter work thru regular AUX one on most aftermarket head units that have an auxilary Audio and Video input so the kit can be mounted behind the radio. If you use a NAV-TV or Lockpick Interface that has additional AUX inputs this kit will work as well but, on any headunit factory or aftermarket the video needs to be bypassed to work in motion. Check Local and State law before watching Video while in motion.
Also This kit MIRROR THE PHONE SCREEN ON TO THE RADIO IT DOES NOT CONTROL FROM THE RADIO. YOU HAVE TO CONTROL FROM THE DEVICE TOUCH SCREEN. Great for NETFLIX, HBOGO and other video apps. Also allow EMails and text to display on screen.
