Have you looked at soundquebed and psi for subs? Id inagine their same price range as type rs and will get louder.

dude I looked and the psi subs today... I like them... hella customizable kinda wish they were available with 4 ohm VCs. but at the same time that would mean I'd have to get something quality to push em so that's kind of awesome :D I'm like the RE 15s though they seem to be best bang for the buck and I've never heard anything bad about em... each one has a 1kw rms on em too... whoots! might go with those but I'm gonna keep looking :D

Re subs have mix reviews, some people say the quality droped when they were bought out by us amps. But no the sa's are far from sundowns comption subs. Sa's are entry lol. They have the x series line that is 1250 rms and the new zv4's are 1750 rms

Theirs guy here name is 96burban doing a rebuild he went from 3 sa 12s to 1 or 2 x series 15's. May ask him some questions. He is young but has a whole lot of skill. But the sa series subs can take a bit more then rated power if its clean and not clipping and depending on the box.

I'll have to cruise through and see... sounds like good stuff

got the purple paint to get rid of that nasty looking silver crap strip on my amp... ehh... never liked that... also got some primer and sand paper for my box... think I may go black with white trim to make the subs really stand out... :D that should come out clean!

You've seen my current setup man, that's one Sundown SA-12 on a Rockford Fosgate 1500.1bdcp amp

It does great for 1 12" sub, but just remember that if you're gonna get 2 subs you're gonna need either another amp or one new more powerful one to push them properly

Thumbs up on the corona btw, lol, did it have a lime in it? God I could go for one of those now...

For now if I was you I would try out your current box and subs with that port in it, I positive you will not be disappointed, and it will help curb your appetite for more power so you can have more time to save up and make sure shit gets done the way you want it done
