datboilos913 Posted July 10, 2013 Report Posted July 10, 2013 So I recently got my car painted its a 1994 cadillac eldorado I had it painted house of kolor candy cobalt blue it has a house of kolor orion silver base and alos used house of color clear for it it came out nice and looked good but a few days after it was painted I went back to check on it and noticed a few flaws iinit amd as I uncovered the car I noticed there were some bubbles in in the paint or the clear not sure which one but also notice small pits in the hood of the car and I am unsure as to why this occured so I am looking to see if anyone on here has any idea as to why this occured also I noticed today that there where some whrikles in the from of the hood so ny help would be great

My build aka Snow White whats wrong with fat chicks? they are like mopeds, as long as your friends dont see you riding it, they are a blast! hahah I am dumb as a stump. I live in the south and we are all dumb here.
genesis Posted July 26, 2013 Report Posted July 26, 2013 Sounds like you have runs in the paint, and a chemical reaction between paint and clear.. but we would be able to help you more if we saw pics! (Plus id like to see pics of your car, as it sounds like a beautiful color!)
Ben Fultz Posted July 26, 2013 Report Posted July 26, 2013 Sounds like it could very well be improper paint prep. If a oil/grease remover isn't used the paint won't adhere properly to the metal. Or if its on a plastic panel your must use a adhesive promoter so the paint won't peel, crack or bubble.
