This answer didn't do it for me, so to those that have experience what will this do to the performance of the sub? Possibly take more of a beating ??? I have no issues. sounds fine. if anything it would add weight which would lower FS. but you are talking a very marginal weight. The one they are selling have a bigger foot print so that supports the cone at around mid way . So yes it will make it a good deal stronger .
