jandsaudio Posted July 27, 2013 Report Share Posted July 27, 2013 I had a 2000 Lincoln LS with HIDs aftermarket. The low beams were a 9006(10k) and the fog lights were a 9145(12k). I now no longer have the LS and I got me a Dodge pickup which uses a 9007(low beam) and a 896(fogs). I guess what I'm trying to get to is, can I just buy different bulbs to fit my Dodge pickup and use the same old ballasts or do I have to have all new sets? And if I can just buy the bulbs, do they have to be from the same brand as the ballasts or can they be interchanged with one another as long as its the same bulb number? Katt Posted July 27, 2013 Report Share Posted July 27, 2013 I know with ddm you can change out just bulbs. Buddy ordered wrong bulbs, then ordered right ones and same ballasts worked. Same with mine.
