Daddy_ Posted July 30, 2013 Report Share Posted July 30, 2013 I'm just having a problem on replacing a 2013 Honda Accord Coupe V6 alternator. The new 2013 models have some sort of special digtal wiring thing that connects to the computer and controls everything. If I take the stock alternator out and replace it with a 240a or bigger alternator would I have any problem? Also If I can't take the stock one out would I possibly add the new alternator in? By that I mean still have the stock one running the car acessories and the mechman one just for the audio system charging the batteries in the front and back. I will see if I can take a good picture of it and let you know.
