Natsuru
Hey guys, I recently added a second E-15 to my car, and after playing heavy bass music, the dust cap of the subwoofer is relatively warm I haven't had any of my other subwoofers that i've owned do this, so i'm just checking to make sure this is normal They are powered by a Power Acoustik BAMF 1250, which is a piece of shit that will be sold for scrap soon, but I don't think it's remotely overpowering them I don't have the gains set too high or anything, and i'm noticing any smell of burning VC, so I don't really know if this is an issue tl;dr - sundown hot, is this bad? severancej
My twelves do that, i smell a little something rarely. Ive had them for about a year now. Gains set at-10db I'm guessing some clipping is the case. Natsuru
I assume it probably is slight clipping, i'm just worried about melting these damn things This is what I get for playing Mad Mike....
