Holy crap yes These things get so damn low even in a basic box It's seriously sickening being in my car at this point I can't even fathom riding in some of the cars on this forum...

I assume it probably is slight clipping, i'm just worried about melting these damn things This is what I get for playing Mad Mike....

Hey guys, I recently added a second E-15 to my car, and after playing heavy bass music, the dust cap of the subwoofer is relatively warm I haven't had any of my other subwoofers that i've owned do this, so i'm just checking to make sure this is normal They are powered by a Power Acoustik BAMF 1250, which is a piece of shit that will be sold for scrap soon, but I don't think it's remotely overpowering them I don't have the gains set too high or anything, and i'm noticing any smell of burning VC, so I don't really know if this is an issue tl;dr - sundown hot, is this bad?

Is it safe to give these things that much power?

Ok, so some of you probably saw my thread where the Boss subs burnt up and died Well, the first of two E-15s has arrived in the mail today All I can say is, damn son These things seriously weigh twice as much as the boss ones, and every little detail about them is amazing Also, it came with a free decal Anyways, i'm sure lots of you have seen videos and whatnot of E-15s hitting in the low 150s and high 140s on youtube My question is, is this unusual for them, or they actually this capable of subs? Are the guys in those videos putting insane wattage into these poor things, or is it pure RMS wattage? Any input would be appreciated, i'm going crazy waiting for the other one
