matt14 Posted August 3, 2013 Report Posted August 3, 2013 Time to start my re-build and yanked these amps out of my car. The 3k is in great condition with just the normal wear on the mounting feet. The 3k is stable at .5 ohm, and well you guys know what it does. Same board as the SAZ 3k and the old school DC 3k. Tuned with the DD1 with -5db track. Never been into protect, thermal, nothing. Been a great amp to me. The 4 channel DOES NOT WORK!!!! I was tuning the amp with the DD1 and did not have the screws on the amp all the way down and it shorted between the screw and the probe and instantly popped the fuses. I e-mailed Crescendo about this and they said that it sounded like the outputs were blown and that it was going to cost around $70 to repair. I never sent it in and just picked up another 1000C4 instead. I'm asking $450 + shipping for the 3k, which will come with the original box and possibly the owners manual if I can find it. I do not have the original bass knob anymore since I use a LC1 The 1000C4 is going to go for $50 + shipping. Also will come in original box but no manual......
