Kwik_Cutty88 Posted August 5, 2013 Report Posted August 5, 2013 I currently have an Alpine CDA-7893 with 4 channel time alignment. I've been playing around with the TA more recently and need some help. Currently have: 3.5" Speakers up front, run off the front channel of the head unit 6.5" component set up front, run off the front channel of the 4 channel amp 6x9" in the rear, run off the rear channel of the amp Since it is only 4 channel time alignment, how would I go about properly setting the TA on the head unit? 1988 Olds Cutlass Supreme Classic Brougham. Go-N-Def Posted August 6, 2013 Report Posted August 6, 2013 I would think its an option for the h/u channels only, not with the amp. Yo dog i heard you like boxes. so i put a box inside a box so you can bass while you FAIL
Kwik_Cutty88 Posted August 8, 2013 Author Report Posted August 8, 2013 I would think its an option for the h/u channels only, not with the amp. I don't think so, because I can hear a difference in the 6x9's when I play with the rear time correction. 1988 Olds Cutlass Supreme Classic Brougham. ALPINE408 Posted August 8, 2013 Report Posted August 8, 2013 You are not set up properly to use TA effectively To use use TA effectively you need to be full active with each speaker to be on its own channel having 3 1/2s and 6.5s on the fronts screw you I would not even touch the TA with your set up Have you ever had your woofers blown?
