Help porting a box

Recommended Posts

so my buddy and I built him a box for an SA-8 under a seat in his boat, and we wanna port the box, and I'm thinking of an aero port tuned to 34-35 hz, I just don't know what size to make the port. Box dimensions are

20" deep

10" tall

15" wide

Current setup in my 96 Hoe

Hu - Pioneer DEH-80prs.

Amps - (4) Crossfire C5 1700D's, MTX Thunder 5604(mids), PPI Art 300.2 (tweets)

Batts - 4 91ah rear batts, 50ah batt up front.

Subs - 2 Crossfire XSv2 18's

Alt - Singer 330A

Front stage - Random JL & Eclipse mids, Eclipse tweets

down rpping vanderbilt. 30 miles from victoria. i own the 3rd loudest setup here out of 3. but i did put together all 3 setups

strapping 2 amps together ? like bolting them next together? using bungy cables to hold them down? or wiring separate amps to each sub

4" aero is more than enough for a single 8. Probably around 23-25inches in total length to get to that tuning so some of it's gonna have to be external, according to torres. psp- says about 21".
