Just ordered the Sundown SAZ2500D v1 and Sundown SAX100.4 off of DB-R Electronics to replace my Hifonics amps. Now my hifonics amps are for sale. I will be posting them up on the classifieds soon. I talked to Dave and the box is complete and will be shipped on Monday. The SPL (45Hz) port will be shipped with it and the other two ports (20Hz/28Hz) will be shipped maybe a day or two after. But I should have it set-up and ready to go next Saturday or Sunday. grayta Posted August 25, 2013 Author Report Share Posted August 25, 2013 Today I finally got some time to get some of the wiring done. I am trying to make this build as clean as possible. Here is what I was left with when I sold my system lol. Installed my second 300A fuse and used gorilla tape to hold it down and there is padding underneath of the fuse holder. Ran my grounds and power wire to two separate terminals that will connect to the second battery in the trunk and then ran those wire from the terminals to distribution blocks for the amps. Just a close up of the distribution blocks for the power and ground. Here is a close up of the terminals I was talking about. These will be going to the second battery. The wire will be hidden more when I get the box, but the battery will be centered at the very end of the trunk. Everything has temporary zip ties on them now and they will be cut and tightened when everything is where it needs to be. Here is the end result, again wires will be cut and hidden more when the box arrives. That amp is my temporary mids/highs amp until my Sundown amps arrive. Until then I will be using Hifonics ZXi 80.4 and the Hifonics BRZ 1700.1D. BTW the power/ground wires will be coming where the speaker wire is currently located, they are just moved out of the way in that pic so I could put the trunk floor back in. Thanks for looking.
