I had two of these subs a few months ago. And I see recones in both of your futures. So gohead and order them now and save time. Honestly if I was you guys I would build a ported box and be done. The type of boxes your shooting for are highly complicated an takes alot of space. I'm not sure if ether of you have that amount of space

I already have my sub and junk and I don't see how I am going to have to recone my sub as long as I no what im doing and which I do

Just be careful with clipping. Those subs will get warm fast

that's why I recommended a dd1 this is what I have found out about the OA subs the reason they put only 600watts on them is for the people who don't no what there doin wont blow them they can handle more I have a MB QUART 1000.1 formula 1Ohm stable also CEA so this amp does 1200 rms at 1ohm and im building a 6th order for mine iv heard they sound the best in these boxes my box specs rear chamber is 4 cubes @ 31hz and front chamber is 2.5 cubes @45hz
