Messing with vinyl wrap

I've been working on repainting my car and about a month ago I was trying to find a way to give my car a little more uniqueness and I saw lots of videos and people using vinyl wrap. So I said what the hell and found a color I liked and went with it. It's relatively cheap and seems to hold up great.

Here are a few pics of what I've done so far and intend to do more soon.

What brand did you use and did you make sure it was laminated?

It's 3M 1080 series. I've never heard of it being laminated?

did you heat it to get on the curves or just stuck it on

The only time I have ever personally witnesses a vinyl wrap working is in this type of application (Yes, laminated):

Yes there was some heating and stretching involved. But you want to not stretch it as much as possible.

stuff works great on interior panels too! I just did the horrible fake wood in my car with piano black vinyl, loks great. where did you get your film?

I buy it off eBay. It's about the cheapest place to get it. Metromods is the seller I buy it from. They have a website too. Metrorestyling.com

ya I got my stuff off ebay too. uneeksupply, iirc. I ordered piano black.. they sent fake carbon fiber, lol. they made it right, though.. and now I have a big roll of fake cf vinyl too lmao. I like that color blue you used! I used a heat gun with my install, its awesome wathing that stuff basically form itself to the pieces, after like.. half a second lol
