UBL: Lbox88's 2009 Equinox

Recommended Posts

So Tenney was looking like my only option for an alt, it then Mechman pulled through. Ordered a 320A this morning. Then just 40 minutes ago, singer emails me back and now he makes his own too :lol2: but the mechman is still the biggest alt.

Also made a small video today.

After tearing into the engine bay a bit, I found out I would have to remove the mounting bolts on the engine and jack the engine up to even get to the tensioner. Uuuuh..... Fuck that. So I dropped the car off this morning to get the alt put in while I work on getting my big 3 wires ready. Had them measured out and cut last night while I had the car.

Got a little more done tonight. I plan on having this done and back in by the end of the weekend.

1st, stickers are gone. A few of them were starting to peal up on the corners and I knew they were gonna start looking like crap before long, so fuck it.

Decaf had to stay though :)

soooooooooooooooooooooooooooo, getting this done on the weekend was a bad idea lol. Was gone all day yesterday, and while home I was preparing for family today. Then today came along, ate way too much and had people here the whole day so that was shot too. Glued down 2 of the small side parts and calling it a night, hope it dries well overnight. Need to pick up some more spray glue and maybe some insulation so I can try to insulate my garage door maybe.

Got some of the top done. Just now realized I still have to cut out the holes for the bolts to go through in the back

DONE! Now I just need to clean the dust and fuzzies off it and toss it in the car tomorrow.
