If it does, your screwed, if it is fine with the speaker leads UN HOOKED, then, its down stream,... feel me? FosgateLife Posted August 21, 2013 Author Report Share Posted August 21, 2013 Okay i figured it out. I unhooked the speakers, that fixed the problem. Turns out only the LEFT channel works.. Essentially making it the same amount of wattage as the amp i had before.... I might go open it up in a minute and take pics. I hooked up an old 4 ohm speaker up to the right channel and it fried instantley... Soni know its the right channel. Left works fine. Left channel, works flawlessly. And i opened it up... Not even one black mark on the whole board... Looks brand new... He had his suhs wired to 2 ohm and only had one channel used anyways, BUT, he "says" he didnt install the system. Just another lessoned learned. So last night i was just jammin, and my sub cuts out.. i get out and try to hook up the connections all over again and boom... Terminal sparks and does the SAME EXACT THING as what happened with the other amp! WTF??? Compltely different amp...
