evermaxx
Check your voltage, grounds, wiring. Sounds like you're wired too low. What model is the amp? SVC or DVC subs? DigitalDeath
So I hooked up a pair of kicker comp 12s on a alpine v12 amp. Everytime I try to adjust the amp the subs cut out. Idk what it is or what to do. We all would love to help, but we need more information. Please include your actual sub and amp models so we can better assist. If you've got the dual voice coil 12's and have them wired in parallel, you're running each sub at one ohm. If you are also running both subs in parallel to each other, then you're running a .5 ohm load which will cause that amp to shut off. Also, make sure your ground is as SHORT as possible and ensure the ground point is free from rust and paint. I do have a feeling you're just running the subs at too low impedance. MD7786
Ok so these are dual 2ohm. SPEC on amp says 4 ohm mono or 2 ohm bridged. How would I wire them.
MD7786
And amp is not 1ohm stable.
