1two3
So my hard drive wouldn't connect so I figured I'd take it apart see what's up. Turns out the USB connected thingie (the part u connect to the computer to transfer data) is only connected on 2 points rather than 4. Its the front 2 that are not connected if it makes a difference. I tried soldering it back but no cigar. I noticed that underneath the ?arms? That connect to the cuircuit there is a metal square that's missing on the front 2. Not sure if that's a crucial component. Please help. beaker
Actually, thats for IDE drives. Go on newegg.com, look for a 3.5 SATA to USB enclosure. Or you can just put it in a tower and hook it up to the SATA ports.
