Dragonware
Without shelling out $30 for a bypass hack on ebay or adding a unsightly switch somewhere My installer tried using a relay that trigers with the remote wire to send ground to the parking brake wire. it works 50-50 sometimes i have to power cycle the headunit or remove the disc and try again seems anoying. is this becuase the relay powers on too quickly and should power on after the deck is booted ? Any cheaper alternatives ? or solutions guys ? Devilsniper
I could be doing it wrong (but it works) is I just ground out the wire that is supposed to go to the parking brake. I have done it to three different brands (sound stream, alpha-nav, clarion) and they have all worked with no issues. The head Unit should come with a wiring schematic that shows the wire to the parking brake goes to the ground which engages the "bypass" for the dvd to play. 99 Navi C-Pillar Wall 2 Sundown Audio Zv4 18's D1 PPI components 1 Rockford Fosgate power T400.4 1 Crescendo 5500 (for now, another later) 3 XS Power 3400's AlphaNav double din HU

If you search, you will find the answer in how to do it.

AI James
nah it still currently works on sony/kenwood/jvc and all the cheap manufactures. Pioneer is the only company who activly changes it or makes it at least a bit tricky. if you follow my first post youll get it.
