*FIXED* audible poping noises coming thru subs...

So I have an 2004 jeep liberty with stock alternator with 1 run of 0 gauge + and 1 run of 0 gauge - going from the front battery to the rear amplifier sundown 3500. I have a relay wired to turn on the amp from the headunit... and I also had done the big 3 upgrade also...
My ground and power have an ohm value of 0 ohms from ground of amp to - of battery and same goes for the + side.. also thr RCa's are no where near the power or ground cables.

So my problem is popping noises when turning on the headunit and turning off the headunit and also lots of bass rumble even when no bass is playing.....

So what can be done for this problem....

I would double check all your connections make sure there all tight and check your rca's and make sure there connected good.

2012 Chevy sonic1xSQ HDC3 12 D2RF R1200d

140 square foot of Q-Mat(soon to be installed)

140.2Db sealed on the dash with TL

142 DB sealed on the dash with another meter (was dead on with the TL at a show i was at)

141 on music.

thats a good radio so its could be the rca if you can get another hu if it still does it it may be the rca wires but if it stops then its the radio having a ground issue.

#1 check grounds on amp

#2 try new rca wires (most likely problem imo)

#3 check source (HU)

I know you said everything is solid, but realize, everyone says that. Check your grounds again. Make sure your RCA's are firmly connected/inserted all the way. If connections are good, it's likely a signal issue from your RCAs or the headunit itself.

So its the cheap rca's i got cause as soon as I ran rockford rca's all the noises stoped.
