then you want the VFL 80.1 1000rms @ 1ohm I all ways like to get a little bigger amp and just turn it down so it could run cooler and have a clean signal.

That makes good sense i found a vfl 100.1 for $289

Are there any better deals out there for this amp?

thats the best deal their going on ebay for that price new, an if you do get if it comes with birthsheet or something post it up I like to see what it does on 4 and 2ohm loads

I think it is but not sure just about every body thats running ab they are using the vfl model. you do know the vfl 100.1 is 1500rms amp @ 1ohm people that run this amp says it does 1700rms with solid electrical

yes i do, Its between the vfl 80.1 and the 100.1 i'll be running my 1 12 incriminator audio lethal injection series @ 2ohms.

The 80.0 is like $50 cheaper. I hate choices what would you do

okay the sub is rated at 500rms but people running 1k to them so I would get the vfl 100.1 it should due 1krms @ 2ohm

duh sill me,i forgot i have the dual 2ohm version of the sub. Its rated@ 600 rms. Right now i'm running it @ 4 ohms on a old american bass SQ 540 bridged about 200 watts (so they say) Believe it or not that sub hits and get low. It really is all in the box. Even on 200 watts my head liner moves so i can imagine what the 80.1 will do for the sub.

I'll get the 80.1 At 1ohm its rate 1000 watts RMS. That should be plenty for my daily driver.

oh yeah if its slamming on 200rms imagine 1000rms but have the gain turn down a little just for safety reason for the subs like I said people swear they do more then rated and another thing I like them they have guts shot on their website they ain't scare of a little nudty

Thanks. it also sounds 100% better than the Kicker L5 i had in a pre fab box.

I cooked that mofo after 2 days. Now its just a door stop. Its so stiff i can even push it.
