tacomabanga1986
how come low songs sound better on my system than most high freq's and its a sealed downfire, well on higher freqs i can set my sub xover on the hu to 63htz i think it is or maby 68 and it ups a lil bit but i leave it at 50htz, those 2 songs are loud in my truck, i guess big sealed boxs are pritty efficent? here's a link to my system 99 toyota tacoma , 2 mtx 8000 1504's in a sealed downfire , 1000w memphis amp here's a link to my other system my 90 geo prizm test car heres a thread i got of new songs u can dl that are legal = Some Good Bangage/you Can Dl These Free And Legit
Decaf
umm u should set ur filter at 80hz, 100 if you listen to rock alot... that is why u have no upper bass the majority of rap is 30-60hz, alot of rock has drums from 60-100hz so u definately should have it at least at 60 something, ideally 80, and if u love rock, 100hz that will make a big difference
tacomabanga1986
u talkin bout sub sonic filter or low pass xover freq? here's a link to my system 99 toyota tacoma , 2 mtx 8000 1504's in a sealed downfire , 1000w memphis amp here's a link to my other system my 90 geo prizm test car heres a thread i got of new songs u can dl that are legal = Some Good Bangage/you Can Dl These Free And Legit
Decaf
if its sealed technically you dont need a subsonic filter because the sealed chamber acts as an airbrake and controls excursion although id set it to 28-30hz since there are only a few songs that go lower the low pass filter/crossover should be set around 80/100hz subsonic filter if ported at 5-10hz below tune frequency
