What Frequency is this Song?

Recommended Posts

Almost a month since the last post. Why is this thread so dead? :(

78, 58, 69hz.

And it's probably dead because nobody needs answers anymore. LoL

WOW that was incredibly fast. Thank you man. Anyway I can find these out so I don't have to keep posting here? I heard audicy or something does it but I forgot how to bring up the frequencies.

I have nothing else better to do. LoL. You're welcome.

Just highlight portion of song you want.

Try to narrow it as much as possible for accuracy.

Then

Analyze --> Plot Spectrum

Change number to 16384

Change Linear to Log

Bada boom bada bing.

How would I find out if a song is clipping? Just open the file and if it's red it's clipping. I don't have to analyze a portion do I?

I use the old version of audacity that doesn't have the Clip Detect function.

So I usually open up my project in Audacity and zoom into where the bass drops. (This is usually where things are clipped.)

Just look too see if it squares off of the graph.

There's a tutorial here in the Tunez section that can go into more detail.

What does this have? I have shitty headphones on and I think I hear a long continuous low note in there in the 30's.

Slam my Door by Gucci pounds but it is clipped

I realize its clipped badly but I'd still like to know cus when I crank my system this song hits the hardest.

I'm talking about the bumps starting at 0:31 in this vid.

I would really appreciate if someone could find it out for me!

Check out my build log!
