Thanks for the info! Yeah I guess you are right, that is quite a bit of money. I guess what I'm saying is if I upgrade my sub, it's going to be something crazy because I really like what I have now so it has to be a night and day difference and almost doubling the power I have on tap should help quite a bit. That being said, I REALLY like what I have now, so I may never do that. Your probably right, I should just go with 1500 at 1 ohm and put that extra money into other places of the system. Do you think with the added distortion of running the amp at 1 ohm vs 4 ohm + switching to D amp vs AB amp what I am going to end up doing is deciding that I don't think it sounds as good and having to deal with extra electrical draw? Like maybe I shouldn't do this at all?
