Alt maybe going bad?

Okay, Im running stock alt and fleet farm battery under hood. (yes i know fleet batts suck) Right now im Running an MTX 4501 amp pushing around 750 watts on a Kicker R 10 600 watts rms. Here is my question, when i start my car the system hits good after a few mins of play it softens up the bass alot sounding and feeling like its hitting around 2 or 300 now if i turn the volume down and take the load off the eletrical and turn it back up a few mins later it hits twice as hard as when i turn my car on. Is it maybe my alt? battery? or just the load on the eletrical system. any input on what it could be and how to fix it would be helpful. My stock alt 120 amps roughly and my car draws roughly including system around 107 amps

no volt meter? that would give you an idea of whats happening. it sounds like your alt may be going. it will charge the battery and once your bass ht he alt is worn out so much that it cant give what the amp is taking. untill you urn it down or off

An inadequate alt doesn't necessarily mean a bad alt.

Check your voltage when you first start the car and when your system begins to sound quiet.
