Skullz Posted September 18, 2013 Report Share Posted September 18, 2013 I was looking at the quickstart myself but talked to mechman and he explained why they were not up to what you can get on an H.O alt, and was basically a waste of money.so if I was to build a external with a better rectifier then the one posted on this page will this work. the reason y I ask is because my alt is 270A and I just wanted to no if I could make more power or extend the life of my alt.Depending on who made the alt you won't need another rectifier to take place in what is in the alt. they either work or they don't, so there is no in between and will capable of 100% duty cycle for longevity. 01 Ford focus ZX3 Pioneer AVH-X491BHS PPI PC 4800.2 Morel Maximo 6.5" x2 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
