zayres29 Posted September 20, 2013 Report Posted September 20, 2013 I've always been told that in hatches especially large ones like a Tahoe that subs up port back is loudest but how much is actually lost by doing sub up port up if there just simply isn't room for port back because choking the port is going to be a loss as well or how close can you get to the hatch before it becomes an issue Thanks Btw that was the first person. But I know people who have gained on the meter going port up. If your going to be choking it going port back i personally would go up. Meade had 2 18s subs up port up so how bad could it be. 750??! Cbarnett_2500 Posted September 20, 2013 Report Posted September 20, 2013 In my opinion, port up is better for smaller subs. Port back is better for either 4+ subs (of any size) or subs that measure 15 inches or larger. Just my opinion though.

B/c If you change to aeros you may be able to make the box a title shorter because they are more efficient on space. And then you would have the space in the rear to go port back 750??!
