I have the AT AT1200.1D, $199 on ebay right now BTW. It's a great amp, build is good. Built in korea. It's rated at 12.8v, so it way underrated and the customer service is great.

For $200 I'd get the 1200.1 that way you'll have more power in the future. Also I think about it as you have more headroom to drive the single sub so the gain doesn't have to be set to 1200rms or so.

Yeah I may upgrade to the 1200.1... the 800 Just isn't enough for my sub. I think the price dropped because the name change.

well that does make better since,but with my small trunk and with 2 amps already that amp may be a bit to long for the space i have picked out for it.

I have a mb quart 4.60 that i use for my mids and highs and a AQ 200-2 that i use to run my sub but if i get a dedicated mono amplifier i will use the AQ 200- 2 for my mids ,and the mb quart for my highs.
