GatiBeats Posted October 6, 2013 Report Posted October 6, 2013 I'm planning running a set of crescendo PWX 6.5's in parallel with a set of Rockford 2 components at 2 ohms on a rf t400-2. Would this work out okay, and if so how should the filter be set? 06 pontiac grand prix alpine ida x100 rf t2 comps rf t1500, t400-2 knu 0 big 3 xs d3400 oct 11 tentatively: 2 obsidian 18 v2's
rockFord_Expedition Posted October 6, 2013 Report Posted October 6, 2013 I've never seen something like that turn out good. Are you talking about both on the same channel? Old School/New School RF Build March 2015 SOTM Winner How to crimp large wire
bbeljefe Posted October 6, 2013 Report Posted October 6, 2013 I wouldn't run them side by side in the same space (even on different amps) but it won't be a problem for the amp. Sound quality, on the other hand, may suffer. Especially if you're planning to run rear and front mids off the same amplifier. That will kill your front staging but even that may not be a problem if you're one who likes a lot of sound coming from behind.
